  • From publicly available sources: We aggregate RFP and opportunity data from publicly available government procurement sources to provide our matching and discovery features

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Process and analyze RFPs to extract key requirements and deadlines
  • Generate proposal content tailored to your organization's capabilities
  • Score and rank opportunities based on relevance to your business
  • Send notifications about new opportunities, deadlines, and account activity
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the Services
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

5. AI and Automated Processing

Hank uses artificial intelligence to analyze RFPs, score opportunities for relevance, and generate proposal content. When you use these features, our AI processes information from your Knowledge Base to personalize outputs to your organization's specific capabilities and experience.

Hank does not use your data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. AI processing is performed solely to provide the Services to you.

AI-generated content, including proposal drafts and analysis, is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and verified by qualified professionals before submission to any government entity.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With your consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information
  • Within your organization: With team members you have authorized to access your organization's account
  • To comply with legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
  • In connection with business transfers: If Hank is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
  • To protect rights and safety: When we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hank, our users, or others

7. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure infrastructure located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Access controls and authentication requirements
  • Regular security monitoring and vulnerability assessments
  • Secure development practices and code review

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Upon termination of your account:

  • Your data will be retained for 30 days to allow you to export your information
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems
  • You may request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us

Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.
